I'm wondering if other people who help run meetings or meeting houses have figured out ways to deal with this problem. Our landlord already agreed to ONE 50% cut in the rent. Have people just so gotten used to Zoom that they find it easier just to stay at home even when they COULD go to an in-person meeting? Our rough statistics show that we only get about 10 percent the donations from Zoomers on Venmo that we do from the baskets in-person.
Even though I STILL hear from people that this is the FIRST in-person meeting since the pandemic, it's heard less and less often. However, meetings have not 'come back' since Covid lessened. We expected that, by now, attendance would come back
We had a lot of well-attended meetings and a LARGE Prudent Reserve before the Covid.
